Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or similar field (60 Credit Hour Program).
• 21 years old or older.
• Background clearance: Montana criminal and child abuse registry as required by the State of Montana.
• License: Program Therapist 1 (SWLC/PCLC/MFLC) or Program Therapist 2 (LCSW/LCPC/MFLT).
• License to operate a passenger vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group and family therapy to youth in school/community/home settings.
• Conducts mental health assessments and develops treatment plans.
• Engages with parents/guardians/caregivers.
• Telehealth and in-person youth/family sessions.
• Responds to crises calmly to ensure safety.
• Complete and verify clinical documentation (assessments, treatment plans, notes).
• Collaborates with treatment team and attends meetings.
• Participates in CST/IEP meetings and coordinates with community agencies.
• Maintains knowledge of Montana Medicaid and YBGR licensure rules.
