Owen Health Care Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Individual Support Worker to join our Bergen County team.

The role involves providing in-home support to children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities, under supervision of behavioral therapists, and collaborating with families and professionals to implement tailored plans. Ideal candidates hold a college degree with experience or a HS diploma with substantial supervised experience in positive behavior supports and ADL

Formación

• Must have a college degree with one year of experience or a High School Diploma/GED plus at least three years of supervised experience in implementing positive behavior support plans.
• Experience teaching ADL/instrumental skills to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with families and professionals.

Responsabilidades

• Assist behavioral therapists to create individualized behavior therapy programs for children and adolescents.
• Implement individualized service plans and safety standards in home and community settings.
• Monitor youth behavior, document observations, and help design engaging activities aligned with therapeutic goals.
