Job summary

Owen Health Care Inc is seeking a Part-Time Individual Support Worker to assist children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will travel to client homes in Hunterdon County, NJ, supporting behavioral therapy programs and building strong relationships with families and professionals.

The role requires a college degree with one year of experience or a high school diploma/GED plus three years of supervised work in positive behavior support and teaching ADL skills.

Qualifications

• College degree with one year of experience or HS diploma + 3 years supervised experience.
• Experience implementing positive behavior support plans.
• Experience teaching ADL/instrumental skills to individuals with IDD.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized service plans for children and adolescents.
• Provide behavioral interventions in home and community settings.
• Monitor youth behavior and modify daily activities to meet goals.
• Develop engaging recreational activities and maintain a safe environment.
