Job summary

ViaQuest is hiring Youth Support Specialists (DSP) in Middleburg Heights, OH. You will provide direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes, with comprehensive training provided.

The role offers paid training, daily orientation, a full benefits package for full-time employees, PTO, annual pay increases and flexible schedules. A strong candidate will have DSP interest and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation and valid Ohio driver's license with car insurance.
• MVRO criteria must be met per ViaQuest policies.
• Ability to push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs and to climb/balance/kneel/crouch.
• 1 year DSP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities to promote independence, choice and safety.
• Supervise, teach and assist individuals in daily living activities.
• Perform household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.

At ViaQuest ICFs, our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety!

Requirements for this position include:

• Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria
