Job summary

ViaQuest, Inc. is seeking an ICF Youth Support Specialist (DSP) in Columbus, OH. You will provide direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities in home settings, with full training provided.

No prior experience required; this role offers a path into healthcare and opportunities to grow in the IDD field. Responsibilities include personal care, meal preparation, safety, companionship, and fostering independence while supporting well-being.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid Ohio driver's license and car insurance.
Fewer than 6 points in the last three years on your motor vehicle record.
Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities to promote independence and safety.
Supervise, teach and assist individuals in all aspects of daily living.
Complete household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean living environment.
Provide personal care assistance and companionship.

At ViaQuest ICFs, our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required!
