Job summary

ViaQuest is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in Ohio. Training is provided in full, with no prior experience required, to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes.

We offer paid training including CPR, First Aid and Medication Administration, paid orientation, a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff, PTO, annual pay increases, diverse schedules, and a referral bonus program.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.
• Personal vehicle to transport individuals is required

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.

At ViaQuest ICFs, our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required!
