Job summary

RCX Sports seeks a part-time field ops assistant to oversee game day operations for NFL FLAG, NHL STREET, MLS GO and NBA/Jr leagues. You’ll support booth setup, field coverage, and crowd interactions with coaches, players, parents, and officials.

Role involves coaching/official duties as needed; prepares scorecards, sells mouth guards, and greets customers. Training is provided; weekends are typical, with potential for season-long involvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with conflict resolution experience.
• Enthusiastic approach and passion for youth sports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee game day operations across multiple youth sports programs year-round.
• Support setup/breakdown of booths and fields; handle game situations with coaches, players, parents, officials.
• Establish relationships with coaches/officials and fill in as coach or official as needed.
• Prepare scorecards, sell mouth guards, greet customers at the field.
• Communicate with supervisor weekly and attend meetings; report weekend reviews.
• Resolve conflicts respectfully and address customer questions.
• Attend coaches’ meetings and staff trainings regularly.
