La Crosse County is seeking an entry-level Social Worker to support youth in Comprehensive Community Service (CCS) and the CLTSW program under ISRS. The role involves assessments, connecting clients with needed services, and coordinating care plans under supervision.

Responsibilities include conducting interviews, home visits, and documentation, while maintaining professional relationships with clients and professionals. Wisconsin-specific training and certification responsibilities apply.

Competenze

• Requires graduation from an accredited college or university with a major in Social Work.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with the same population.
• Must have valid driver’s license and access to transportation.
• Requires certification by the State of Wisconsin as a Social Worker or eligibility.

• Conducts thorough assessments through interviews, home visits and collateral investigations to determine the range of services needed.
• Provides social services per Wisconsin statutes, court policies, and program requirements.
• Inputs data in computer and uses various computer programs, the internet, and email.
