La Crosse County in Wisconsin is seeking a Youth Justice Social Worker for a six‑month limited‑term assignment to support youths involved with the justice system, focusing on strengths, growth, and community safety. Responsibilities include case planning, court‑related documentation, collaboration with families and agencies, and on‑call coverage as needed.

Requires social work degree and WI licensure; valid driver's license preferred.

Competenze

• Requires graduation from an accredited college or university with a major in Social Work.
• Strong preference for minimum of one year of experience working with youth and families.
• Requires certification by the State of Wisconsin as a Social Worker; if not certified at time of application, must apply and obtain.
• Must have valid driver's license and access to personal transportation.
• Must be versed in Chapters 48, 51, 55 and 938 of the Wisconsin Statutes and Administrative Rules.
• Must be available to work outside normal hours and be on-call.
• Must have (or obtain within one year) 30 hours of Juvenile Court Intake training; knowledge of eWISACWIS preferred.
