La Crosse County seeks an entry-level Social Worker to support youth through Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) and the Children’s Long-Term Support Waiver (CLTSW) programs. Under supervision, you will assist clients with environmental and supportive services to overcome financial, health or family challenges.

You will conduct assessments, provide agency services when appropriate, and refer clients to community resources as needed.

Formación

• Knowledge of the philosophy, history and development of social welfare programs.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to plan and organize work to achieve program objectives.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and build trust.

• Assist clients with environmental and supportive services.

• Input data in computer systems and maintain records.
