The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division seeks a Youth Soccer Instructor for the Kroc Center Chicago to lead sessions and develop players of varying ages and skill levels.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s preferred; high school diploma with 4 years’ sports instruction experience acceptable.
• Coaching certifications (USSF/UEFA/NSCAA) preferred; CPR/First Aid within 90 days.
• Experience working with children in sports or recreation; soccer playing background.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and conduct age- and skill-appropriate soccer sessions.
• Teach fundamentals and advanced techniques; provide feedback on development.
• Lead practices, games, and tournaments with equal playing time and safety guidance.
• Communicate with parents about schedules and participant progress.
