Job summary

Legends Global at Soldier Field, Chicago, seeks a Soccer Instructor (Part-Time, Hourly) to develop curriculums and coach participants aged 3–13 with parent participation. Under supervision, you’ll deliver engaging lessons, manage equipment, and maintain a safe environment.

You will create lesson plans, supervise drills and scrimmages, and communicate with parents while ensuring safety and a positive experience for all attendees. Flexible hours include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year teaching experience.
• Experience working with students aged 1–5.
• Minimum age 18.
• Early childhood experience not required, but preferred.
• Ability to maintain a positive and SAFE environment for all students.
• Be able to communicate with parents and guests.
• Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Instructs scheduled classes, beginning and ending on time; provides adequate and effective lessons.
• Prepares detailed lesson plans and activities.
• Leads the instruction of soccer participants, according to the approved lesson plan, in a fun environment while teaching specific soccer techniques.
• Ensures that the team has adequate equipment for practices and games including soccer balls, nets, cones, etc.
• Maintains a positive, safe, and nurturing environment for both participants, guests, and parents.
• Ensures that safety standards are met, and department and facility policies are adhered.
• Provides positive and professional communication with participants parents involved in program.
• Ensures the safety of all participants during classes and performances, and report any problems, unsafe conditions, behavior issues and accidents to the management.
• Helps players develop their skills through drills, scrimmages, and other exercises.
• Maintains Class log and attendance.
• Other related duties as assigned.
