Qualifications

• Experience with music direction in an educational setting.
• Demonstrated piano expertise and experience accompanying young singers.
• Ability to compose underscoring and arrange music to support student voices.
• Complete fluency in music notation with strong sight-reading skills.
• Experience with underscoring and devising for musical numbers.
• Flexible and creative mindset to support show ideas from students.
• Collaborate with students on original music and arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Music direct the culminating show with students.
• Teach all musical solos and harmonies to campers and provide live piano accompaniment for classes and shows.
• Compose original music for the show with input from students.
• Lead activities and games as needed.
• Develop responsive plans to support students with performance skills.
