Stars Theatre Company Youth Theatre Workshop in Rutherford, NJ is seeking a Music Director who can play piano and loves musicals. This is a hands-on teaching role for a passionate educator who enjoys guiding young performers and being part of a new, creative program.

You will collaborate with theatre teachers, choreographers, and tech crew to prepare musical numbers, teach vocal parts, and help students gain confidence, musicality, and stage presence.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Music Director for musicians preferred.
• Strong sight-reading and quick transposition skills.
• Ability to play piano for rehearsals and performances.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare musical numbers with vocal parts and harmonies.
