You will recruit and train Youth Coaches, manage schedules, ensure documentation, and support youth in housing, healthcare, and connections with caring adults. Evening and weekend coverage required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and relevant experience required.
• Master’s degree in social work preferred.
• Three years’ experience in a relevant social service position and/or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience providing trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Knowledge of adolescent and young adult development.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to engage youth and build trust.
• Commitment to diversity and cultural competency.
• Knowledge of local services and resources.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the St Albans Youth Shelter.
• Supervise Youth Coaches and temporary staff; recruit and train.
• Develop staff training and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate youth files and program records.
• Coordinate intake, referrals, waitlist, and shelter intakes.
• Collaborate with inter-agency teams and community partners.
