Spectrum Youth and Family Services seeks a Youth Coach for our Youth Shelter in St Albans. This full‑time overnight role (Mon‑Fri 1:30 am–9:30 am) supports 18–24 year olds in housing, job searches, and life skills while ensuring safety and accurate documentation.
You will work with staff to foster a recovery‑oriented, trauma‑informed environment, coordinate with activities and services, and participate in ongoing supervision and program improvement.

As a vital part of our shelter community, you’ll support youth in everything from job and housing searches to life skills development. You’ll foster a safe and engaging environment while maintaining clear communication with staff and ensuring accurate documentation.

This position requires flexibility and travel for activities, client appointments, etc. Due to the nature of supported housing work shifts include days, evenings, awake overnights, weekends, and holidays, schedules and shifts are subject to change. May require sitting, standing, general use of stairs, and lifting or moving up to 10 pounds.
