Laramie County Library System is seeking a Youth Services Assistant to provide front-line service to children and teens and their caregivers. The role supports daily operations and literacy goals across our Cheyenne location.
The position is part-time (18 hours/week) with an hourly pay range of $15.63 to $23.45, based on experience, and requires a high school diploma with some related experience. Weekend/evening availability is expected.

The Youth Services Assistant provides front-line customer service to library patrons in person and by phone, especially youth from birth to 18 years of age, and their caregivers. The employee in this position works with division coworkers, the Youth Services Manager, and the Youth Services Assistant Manager as a team to implement the library’s mission, strategic priorities, and literacy goals for this age group.
The essential duties and responsibilities of this job require the employee to move or manipulate moderately heavy equipment, boxes, carts, files, and stacks of material from one location to another.
