Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department in North Carolina is seeking a Recreation Program Supervisor for the Northern Regional Recreation Center. You will oversee youth, senior, and nature programming, build partnerships, and help plan and evaluate services for the community.

The role requires early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Qualifications include four years in recreation programming, one year in supervision, a related Bachelor's degree, and CPR/First Aid

Formación

• Minimum four (4) years of experience in recreational programming.
• One (1) year of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Park and Recreation Administration, Health and Physical Education or a related field.
• Requires a valid North Carolina or South Carolina Driver’s License and County Driving Privileges; CPR/First Aid.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise the recreation activities of groups within a program, assigned district, or center.
• Supervise summer programs, after-school programs, community centers, special events, youth and adult sports programs.
• Supervise a NC State licensed Senior Center and oversee staff providing services and programs for senior citizens.
• Engage communities and partners to support program development and outreach.
• Conduct staff meetings to discuss plans, programs, and problems.
• Provide leadership, equipment and facilities to staff members and the community.
• Responds to emergency situations as needed.
