Job summary

The Home for Little Wanderers, Unity House in Keene, NH seeks a Residential Supervisor to lead direct care staff and oversee daily shift operations for youth ages 14-18 who identify as LGBTQ+. The role focuses on safety, supervision, and high-quality child care in a community-based group home.

You will collaborate with the Milieu/Program Director to ensure staffing coverage, plan therapeutic activities, manage records, and respond to medical or behavioral crises in a fast-paced treatment setting.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff in human services/mental health or youth development.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office; ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Residential Counselors and coordinate staff work assignments.
• Ensure safety of clients and provide direct child care.
• Plan therapeutic groups and coordinate daily shift activities.
• Manage medical appointments, transportation, and behavior support systems.
• Complete shift documentation and incident reporting.
• Provide crisis intervention and safe physical interventions when needed.
• Maintain timely records and communicate shift events.
