Brightli is hiring a Shift Lead for our Springfield, MO Youth Residential program. The role leads Behavioral Health Technicians, ensuring a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for youth in treatment, while supporting staff development and program delivery.

You will coordinate shifts, facilitate groups, and collaborate with the treatment team to achieve positive client outcomes. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Psychiatric Nursing, or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years of responsible employment history.
• Experience in Human Services or related field preferred.
• For St. Louis County programs: Bachelor’s degree or MAADC I/II credential required.

Responsabilités

• Lead and provide guidance, coaching, and support to Behavioral Health Technicians during assigned shifts.
• Foster a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment that promotes client growth and recovery.
• Monitor daily client activities and communicate observations to the treatment team.
• Assist with staff training, orientation, and ongoing development of Behavioral Health Technicians.
• Facilitate educational, recreational, and therapeutic groups as assigned.
• Help coordinate staffing coverage and scheduling needs.
• Prepare and organize educational materials and program resources.
• Support crisis intervention and de-escalation with program leadership.
• Ensure documentation is completed accurately and in line with standards.
• Conduct performance evaluations for direct reports and provide feedback.
• Perform direct care duties to support treatment goals.

Formation

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Psychiatric Nursing, or related field

High school diploma + 2 years responsible employment
