Job summary

Wayside Youth & Family Support Network is hiring Residential Counselors Per-Diem in the Waltham area. The role involves supervising youth/residents, supporting skill-building, and maintaining required trainings. MAP certification will enable medication administration and transport duties as needed.

A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required. The position offers a per-diem schedule with a dynamic team-focused environment that values creative, proactive approaches to youth

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required; motor vehicle background checks will be completed.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and engage with youths/residents in activities and daily routines.
• Support skill building for youths/residents through collaborative team work.
• Show willingness to learn in trainings and maintain necessary certifications.
• Facilitate recreational activities for clients, working with staff to ensure program structure and provide positive role modeling.
• Assist with safe client transportation and medication administration once MAP certified.
• Help provide basic needs: meals, safe living environment, recreational activities, and hygiene.
