Wayside Youth & Family Support Network is hiring Residential Counselors Per-Diem in the Waltham area. The role involves supervising youth/residents, supporting skill-building, and maintaining required trainings. MAP certification will enable medication administration and transport duties as needed.

A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required. The position offers a per-diem schedule with a dynamic team-focused environment that values creative, proactive approaches to youth

• Facilitate recreational activities for clients, working with staff to ensure program structure and provide positive role modeling.
• Assist with safe client transportation and medication administration once MAP certified.
• Help provide basic needs: meals, safe living environment, recreational activities, and hygiene.

Salary: $20.50/hour.

What You Will Do:

• Directly supervise and engage with youth/residents in activities and daily routines.
• Support skill building for all youth/residents through collaborative team work.
• Show yourself to be a willing learner in trainings and maintain necessary certifications.
• Facilitating recreational activities for clients, working with the staff team to ensure the program structure while providing positive role modeling for youth.
• Safe client transportation and medication administration once MAP certified.
• Assist the program in providing basic needs for clients, such as regular meals, a safe and clean living environment, recreational activities, and appropriate hygiene.
