Job summary

Rebuilding Hope Sexual Assault Center is hiring a Prevention Advocate to deliver live, in-person prevention education and community outreach across Pierce and Kitsap Counties. The role involves collaboration with Education and Advocacy managers and supporting training initiatives.

The full-time position is based in Tacoma, with travel across counties; compensation is hourly and includes health, dental, and vision benefits along with retirement contributions and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of sexual violence prevention and trauma-informed care.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to engage with diverse communities and partners.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with community partners across Pierce and Kitsap Counties.
• Develop prevention curricula and materials to meet OCVA and grant requirements.
• Present prevention content in person and virtually to schools, youth programs, and communities.
• Coordinate advocacy and survivor-support services with other agency staff and partners.
• Document activities and reporting in internal databases and funder reports.
