Pennsylvania Recreation & Park Society Inc is seeking a Recreation Program Coordinator to lead youth and family programming and manage the 10-week Summer Camp Program, including staffing, activities, and communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum three years in a leadership role conducting youth recreation activities/events.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and implement year-round recreational activities for youth (4-18) and family events.
• Oversee the Department’s 10-week Summer Camp Program including registration, staffing, daily activities, supplies, and communications.
• Assist with planning of special events throughout the year.
• Recruit vendors and coordinate with contractors, permits, and communications for programs and events.
• Create promotional materials for programs via website, social media, flyers, and guides and ensure timely marketing.
• Provide professional customer service to residents, participants, volunteers, staff, and instructors.
• Monitor program budgets and prepare data for the annual budget.
• Research trends and collaborate to offer creative programming.
• Assist in developing department goals, policies, and initiatives.
