Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. in Pennsylvania seeks a Recreation Coordinator to work with the Recreation team and promote health and wellness by overseeing the approved recreation schedule and programs for students.

You will supervise a diverse program, coordinate activities with CPP and Social Development, ensure safety, maintain equipment, and report student participation; this role requires collaboration with Center staff and community resources.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year related field experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to create positive leisure-time programs for students aged 16–24.
• Must possess a valid in-state driver’s license and meet insurability requirements.
• Physical ability to sit/stand, lift up to 40 pounds, and engage in active recreation activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervision of a comprehensive and diverse recreation program.
• Coordinate activities with CPP and Social Development for evening programming.
• Coordinate recreation and leadership activities with Center and local community resources.
• Ensure safe practices and program compliance within safety guidelines.
• Document student participation and accountability during activities.
• Maintain inventory and care of equipment; advise on purchases and repairs.
