Requires an Associate of Arts degree or 1 year of youth-related experience, weekend/holiday availability, a valid GA driver's license, and ability to pass a background check and drug screen. PSLF-eligible employer.

Qualificações

• Associates of Arts degree or one year of related experience working with youth required.
• Prefer experience in a recreation/non-vocational program.
• Must be flexible with work schedule to include weekends, holidays and/or nights.
• Valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.
• Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.

Responsabilidades

• The Recreation Aide organizes and directs trainees in leisure-time recreation/non-vocational activities and leadership programs.
• Assists in center-sponsored trips and events including escorting and chaperoning; may drive students on trips/events.
• Assists with Water Safety programming and CIS documentation if applicable.
• May provide instructions to trainees in recreational clubs and other activities such as arts and crafts.
• Mentor students in Recreation Aide Program to help establish life skills.
