Job summary

Eckerd Connects is seeking a Medical Administrative Assistant (MAA) Instructor for the Turner Job Corps center in Albany, GA. You will teach in a regular classroom, deliver the MAA curriculum, and foster a positive learning environment to motivate students toward successful outcomes.

Responsibilities include curriculum alignment with Job Corps requirements, counseling students on study and behavior, and preparing reports while collaborating with coordinators to support Work-Based Learning

Qualifications

• Certified, licensed, or accredited in the state in which the center is located.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• Employment contingent on a nationwide criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Instructs in the Medical Administrative Assistant curriculum in accordance with Job Corps requirements.
• Promotes a positive classroom atmosphere to maximize student motivation and learning.
• Counsels and motivates students regarding behavior, training, and study habits.
• Individualizes curriculum to fit students' vocation choices and maintains contact with counselors.
• Prepares reports such as hours, requisitions, and monthly evaluations.
• Collaborates with coordinators to implement Work-Based Learning programs and partners.
