Job summary

Eckerd Connects in Albany, GA is seeking a Recreation Aide to support youth through leisure and life-skills activities. You will organize and direct recreational programs, assist with trips, and help document water safety and CIS records as applicable.

Requirements include an Associates degree or 1 year of related youth experience; valid Georgia driver's license; ability to work weekends/holidays/nights; drug screen and background check compliance.

Qualifications

• Associates of Arts degree or 1 year of related experience working with youth required.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and/or nights.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Employment contingent upon successful nationwide criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and directs trainees in leisure-time recreation and leadership programs.
• Assists in center-sponsored trips and events, including escorting and chaperoning.
• May drive students on trips/events when required.
• Assists with Water Safety programming and CIS documentation, if applicable.
• Mentors students in Recreation Aide Program to develop life skills.

Education
