Eckerd Connects is seeking a Career Counselor at the Turner Job Corps site in Albany, GA. You will advise students on personal and career development, assist in education pathways, and coordinate with community resources to support successful transitions from school to work.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (with 15 semester hours in Social Sciences) and prior counseling experience. A valid GA driver's license and background check are required; the program emphasizes service and equal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree including 15 semester hours of Social Sciences or related area required.

Responsibilities

• Counsel students in personal, social development, vocational and educational training.
• Assist students in continuing education or additional training and connect with community services.
• Help students set short and long-term goals and identify career challenges.
• Co-facilitate small group social skills sessions and employability training.
• Conduct intake interviews for new enrollees within 48 hours of onboarding.
• Monitor attendance and address conduct issues per department protocols.
• Serve as Counselor on Duty for weekends in rotation.
