LUK, Inc. seeks an Amp Peer Specialist to engage middle and high school students at risk for substance use, delivering Project Amp/iDECIDE and coordinating with families and school partners in Central Massachusetts.

You will conduct screenings, help set goals, and connect families to community resources, with travel and remote work as needed. Strong communication and youth development knowledge are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working with adolescents/young adults preferred.
• Knowledge of behavioral health, substance use prevention/intervention, positive youth development, and cultural responsiveness preferred.
• Strong relationship-building skills required.
• Excellent communication and computer skills required.
• Bilingual/bicultural candidates encouraged to apply.

Aufgaben

• Identify and recruit youth in middle/high school at risk for substance misuse to participate in Project Amp/iDECIDE.
• Meet with youth/families regularly at home, school, or community locations.
• Develop individualized action plans with youth/families and monitor progress.
• Coordinate with staff and resources; provide warm hand-offs to services.
• Mentor and coach youth/families to build skills and resilience.
• Participate in supervision and training as required.
• Assist with program coordination and community outreach.
