Job summary

Central Lincoln County YMCA in Damariscotta, ME seeks a seasoned program leader to support youth development and healthy living initiatives.

In this role you will supervise staff and volunteers, build community partnerships, and ensure programs meet licensing standards and budget objectives. The position requires strong communication, multitasking, and a commitment to inclusivity, with summers onsite and occasional evening hours.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in a related field.
• CPR and First Aid certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task and lead others in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn software.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with leadership to promote healthy living and youth development.
• Leads staff and volunteers in campaigns, programs, camps, and leagues while maintaining safety and licensing standards.
• Plans youth and adult programming including StepUP, TeenREACH, and tournaments.
• Assists with after-school programming and supervision.
• Builds relationships with staff, participants, guardians, and partners to maximize impact.
