Job summary

Roads to Success seeks an Assistant Director to support daily site operations, staff supervision, and program quality at our Bronx program site. You will ensure engaging, safe youth programming, accurate attendance, and family engagement while stepping in as site lead when the Program Director is unavailable.

The role requires 2–3 years in youth development, supervisory experience, and strong organizational skills; familiarity with school and community partnerships is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education, Youth Development, Social Work, Human Services, Recreation, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience working in youth development, after-school programming, or related environment.
• Prior lead/supervisory or program coordination experience strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to supervise frontline youth development staff and coach them effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Director with daily coordination and operation of the assigned program site.
• Serve as the designated site leader when the Program Director is absent.
• Supervise staff, provide coaching, and ensure program quality and safety.
• Oversee attendance, documentation, family outreach, and program schedules.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure high-quality, youth-centered programming.
