Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada seeks a Healthy Lifestyles Specialist to oversee Health & Wellness and Sports & Recreation programs at assigned Clubhouses. You will plan, develop, report, and implement these programs in collaboration with the Programs team.

This role may serve as acting Clubhouse supervisor in the absence of leadership and involves mentoring members, ensuring safety, and promoting engaging activities for youth development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization working with youth in health, wellness, sports, and/or recreation settings.
• Experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating youth programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and oversee Healthy Lifestyles and assigned programs and activities.
• Ensure program standards, goals, and grant compliance are met.
• Provide mentorship and enforce standards for member safety and conduct.
• Promote programs and engage members and families in activities.
• Assist with retention and recruitment efforts and coordinate with Club staff.
• Drive Club vans periodically and ensure safe operation of Clubhouse areas.
