Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory in Spokane, WA seeks a Youth Ministry Outreach Coordinator to lead youth programs at the Spokane Citadel Community Center and Camp Gifford. You will support the After-the-Bell program, plan events, and recruit leaders for summer camps and weekly activities.

The role requires 2+ years in leadership, preferably within Salvation Army contexts, with strong organizational, reporting, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of leadership experience, preferred.
• Two or more years of Salvation Army program experience, preferred.
• Applicable higher education degree, preferred; high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to After-the-Bell program and staff.
• Engage youth and coordinate with Corps Officers on youth activities.
• Plan and implement youth program activities at the Spokane Citadel Community Center and Camp Gifford.
• Maintain youth records and required reports.
• Coordinate transportation and participate in community events.
• Attend weekly and monthly campus staff meetings.
• Provide information for reader board, web page, and social media posts.
• Assist in seasonal programs and family/community outreach.
