Job summary

Youth Era in Oregon seeks a Program Manager to lead a dynamic team delivering community-based services to youth and young adults. Reporting to the Drop-In Services Director, you will supervise staff, coordinate schedules, and maintain strong partnerships with families and community partners to ensure impactful services.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent leadership experience, travel flexibility, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent leadership/managerial experience.
  • Ability to travel and willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and car insurance.
  • Willingness to update job knowledge by engaging in trainings and reading professional publications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and work independently or in teams.
  • Attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, support, motivate, and inspire an energetic team of staff.
  • Supervise staff providing community-based services in the assigned area.
  • Coordinate meetings, provide coaching, and discipline as needed.
  • Maintain communication with youth participants and families.
  • Network with community partners and professionals.
  • Organize weekly staff meetings and provide supervision.
  • Track expenses and time using YE-approved systems.
  • Record hours and ensure confidentiality according to policy.
