Role Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Program Manager who is ready to lead and empower our neighborhood youth group home to help each individual we support achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

As a Program Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of support. You will lead, mentor, and train staff to implement our core competencies, policies and procedures, and administrative rules to ensure the development and implementation of individual support plans. You will also be responsible for coordinating any necessary or desired services for each youth. You will fill in as a Direct Support Professional when necessary to ensure staffing ratios and act as primary contact for staff 24 hours per day, 5 days per week. You will be key in preventing and resolving conflicts and leading and managing change.

This is an on-site position in a residential youth group home in Forest Grove, Oregon.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least two years of experience delivering attendant care in a setting regulated by either the Oregon Department of Human Services or the Oregon Health Authority. For Program Managers providing services to children, a minimum of two years professional experience delivering supports to children is required.
  • At least one year of experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating the work of two or more individuals preferred.
  • Verbal and written English language proficiency sufficient to communicate with people we support, co-workers, and community members.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to relate effectively with clients and families.
  • Ability to respond to crisis situations in a calm professional manner.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75lbs.
  • Licensed driver with at least two years' driving experience required.
  • A criminal background check is required.
