Job summary

SEO is seeking a Senior Manager, Mentor Programs to lead the strategic and day-to-day operations of our mentorship program for 10th grade scholars. You will manage communications, systems, and volunteer partners to support scholars as they explore college and career paths.

The role involves recruiting mentors, coordinating partnerships, and ensuring compliance with policies for working with minors, including background checks. Hybrid work with on-site Saturdays is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years overseeing youth-facing mentoring or employee volunteer programs.
• 2+ years of experience successfully managing staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead mentor recruitment strategy and develop partnerships with mentors.
• Oversee mentor selection, matching, and training processes.
• Ensure compliance with policies for working with minors and background checks.
• Co-manage staff and coordinate with program teams to plan Saturday mentoring sessions.
• Maintain communications with mentors and scholars; track engagement and safety notes.
