Job summary

Placements24 in East London, Eastern Cape invites applications for a Youth Mentor & Development Facilitator. You will design and deliver life skills workshops, provide one-on-one mentorship, and foster a positive learning environment to empower young people.

Ideal candidates have a relevant qualification in Youth Development, Education, Social Work, or Psychology, at least 2 years experience in youth work or training, and strong facilitation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Youth Development, Education, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in youth work, facilitation, mentoring, or training.
• Ability to design and deliver engaging training sessions and workshops.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver interactive workshops on life skills, career exploration, CV writing, interview skills, and financial literacy.
• Provide one-on-one mentorship to youth participants, guiding personal and professional development.
• Facilitate group discussions and activities to encourage peer learning and collaboration.
