Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain is seeking a Program Coordinator to assist with implementing, evaluating and promoting program activities such as STEM, Social Recreation, Creative Arts, Career Exploration, Leadership & Service and Health & Wellness.

Under the Unit Director, you will help create an engaging environment for youth and support Youth Development Professionals (YDPs) with program orientation and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Associate degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
• Minimum of 1 year of direct youth service experience and a demonstrable record of planning and implementing youth programs; BSAC training within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment that facilitates Youth Development Outcomes and encourages program participation.
• Assist YDPs with implementing, monitoring and evaluating programs and activities for members.
• Promote and stimulate program participation and track attendance and surveys.
• Provide guidance and role modeling to members and YDPs; maintain order and safety.
