Job summary

The Salvation Army Red Shield Youth Center in Charlotte seeks a Program Coordinator to plan, implement and supervise multiple program areas, including education and youth development. You will train staff, supervise volunteers, and ensure safety standards while contributing to positive outcomes for youth through engaging activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading youth programs and staff.
• Ability to train, supervise and motivate volunteers and youth members.

Responsibilities

• Administers center program curriculum and activities to meet youth development goals.
• Plans and promotes weekly/monthly programs to boost participation and outcomes.
• Supervises and trains volunteers and staff to ensure safety and quality.
• Coordinates driver responsibilities and facility maintenance with center leadership.
