Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Central Coast is seeking a Part-time Assistant Club Director in Guadalupe to assist the Club Director in daily operations, staff supervision, and program management. The role includes supervising Youth Development Professionals and guiding behavior management for club youth.

Responsibilities include planning and evaluating programs, maintaining safety, and coordinating with volunteers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working directly with school-aged youth and knowledge of youth development.
• Ability to plan, instruct, coach, and guide youth; supervise staff and volunteers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to communicate effectively with youth, parents, staff, volunteers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment at the Club that facilitates Youth Development Outcomes; promote participation.
• Provide positive behavior guidance supporting development and safety of all members.
• Assist Club Director in planning, developing, implementing and evaluating programs to meet objectives.
• Supervise youth, monitor safety, and ensure quality programs and diverse participation.
