Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast seeks a Youth Development Professional (YDP) Rover to support a designated home site and cover other Guadalupe Club sites as needed. You will help ensure quality programs, supervise youth, and assist with daily operations while engaging families and community partners.

Responsibilities include coordinating activities, supervising members, tracking attendance, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

Experience working with youth in a supervised setting.
Ability to plan, implement and supervise youth activities.
Strong communication with youth, parents and volunteers.

Responsibilities

Create an environment that supports positive Youth Development Outcomes.
Provide guidance and role modeling to club members.
Coordinate program services and activities that are fun, educational and developmentally appropriate.
Plan, lead, monitor and evaluate programs ensuring safety and inclusivity.
Maintain daily setup/cleanup of materials and spaces.
Supervise youth and monitor safety and behavior.
Track attendance and progress; prepare reports.
Foster positive relationships with members, families and staff.
Ensure equipment safety and proper use of facilities.
Attend staff trainings and perform other duties as assigned.
