Job summary

Arc Experience provides engaging after-school programs for youth across Southern California. The Assistant Site Coordinator will support the Site Coordinator, supervise student safety, and help run indoor and outdoor enrichment activities at partner schools.

The role emphasizes strong communication with kids and families, club creation, and attendance tracking. English-Spanish bilingual candidates are preferred, and Covid-19 vaccination documentation may be requested.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation.
• Strong communication skills with kids and parents.
• TB test and Live Scan background check.
• Covid-19 vaccination documentation if required by the school.
• English-Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Coordinator by serving as second point of contact for parents and administrators.
• Oversee safety and well-being of students during after-school activities.
• Establish and enforce rules and expectations to promote positive behavior.
• Coordinate, manage, and participate in indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
• Facilitate sign-up procedures to ensure accurate attendance tracking.
• Create and lead clubs for students (e.g., career readiness, cooking, anime, dance).
• Organize activities such as homework help, games, arts and crafts, and educational projects.
