The Town of Breckenridge Recreation Department is seeking a dedicated Programs Lead to design, instruct, and oversee youth programs, afterschool activities, summer camps, and related events.

This role requires strong communication, organization, and leadership, with experience teaching outdoor recreation and working with children; driving is required with a valid Colorado driver’s license. This is a full-time, on-site position in Breckenridge.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years customer service experience.
• 1+ years computer and MS Office experience.
• Experience teaching outdoor recreation or related activities.
• Completion of at least one Programs Director qualification per Colorado DHS.

Aufgaben

• Design, instruct, and oversee youth programs, afterschool and summer camps.
• Oversee events and outdoor activities for participants and families.
• Interact with youth, parents, and program participants; communicate clearly.
• Provide leadership and ensure program quality through appropriate progression.
• Maintain knowledge of required methodologies and educational practices.
