Job summary

The City of Greeley is seeking a Recreation Program Lead to supervise on-site recreation facilities, programs, and events. You will lead hourly staff, coordinate volunteers, and serve as a key contact in the absence of full-time staff, exercising sound judgment and ensuring program quality.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of recreation experience.
• 3 years of customer service experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license including clean driving record.
• Current certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED or ability to obtain within three months of hire required.
• One year of event planning and program development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate positive youth-centered recreation programs.
• Assist with planning, oversight, and delivery of drop-in programs and events.
• Engage participants and guardians effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Explain and enforce rules, policies, and procedures while positively representing the City.
• Provide first-rate customer support to members and the public.
• Support full-time staff with administrative tasks.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Coordinate with contracted instructors and service providers.
• Maintain office and program hours, perform admin tasks and program facilitation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
