First Place for Youth is seeking an Intake Specialist in Los Angeles, CA to manage admissions for youth. You will coordinate assessments, gather documents, and engage county partners to support successful program entry and ongoing outreach.

Qualifications

• BA in social work, psychology, counselling or equivalent required with minimum four years of experience in child welfare or transition age youth.
• Master's Degree in social work, psychology, counselling or equivalent preferred.
• Must have car, CA driver's license, and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Complete and document applicant interest in program and intake activities.
• Liaise with county workers to invite participation in assessments and initial team meetings.
• Coordinate with Housing Department for seamless program entry and hand-off to services.

Education

Bachelor's degree in relevant field
