Job summary

Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston is seeking a Program Generalist to deliver high-quality, developmentally appropriate programs and events for youth. You will support across club areas, maintain safe spaces, and report to the Program Director or Club Director of Operations.

Responsibilities include engaging youth, applying positive discipline, and participating in ongoing program evaluation and collaboration with staff and partners. Starts Oct 2026, Roxbury location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of youth learning and development principles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work clubhouse hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, developmentally appropriate programs, activities, services, and events.
• Engage and instruct youth, applying conflict-resolution and classroom management skills.
• Support across Club program areas as needed and maintain safe, organized spaces.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in program evaluations.
• Collaborate with Directors and staff to develop high-quality youth development opportunities.
