Job summary

Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos is seeking a Youth Program Specialist to mentor youth and facilitate programs across multiple sites. You will begin at the Jennifer Loscher Branch and cover sites with staffing shortages, ensuring safe, engaging activities that develop confidence and leadership in young members.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, 18+ years old, and experience with youth programs. The floater will adapt to each site’s needs while maintaining program quality.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have valid identification.
• Advanced knowledge of basic youth development or Boys & Girls Club concepts.
• Ability to organize, supervise, and discipline youth members safely.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and engage youth members during activities to develop self-confidence and positive citizenship.
• Plan and implement National Boys & Girls Club Programs and Local Initiative Activities.
• Floater role: cover sites with staffing shortages and support programming as needed.
• Run high-quality programming independently and adapt to different site expectations.
