Arc Experience is seeking a Youth Program Leader for Downtown L.A. to manage after-school activities, homework help, and enrichment clubs. The role focuses on guiding students with social-emotional learning in a safe, engaging environment.

The position is part-time (2pm–6pm, weekdays) at several Southern California sites. Ideal candidates have 1+ year in youth programs, strong communication with families, and a TB/LIVE Scan clear background check.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation in diverse communities.
• Strong communication with kids and parents.
• TB test and Live Scan background check; vaccination if required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome kids at the end of their school day.
• Organize and lead activities including homework help and enrichment.
• Join in indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
• Create unique clubs for students (career readiness, cooking, anime, dance).
• Maintain a secure environment by following safety protocols and monitoring behavior.
• Oversee safety and well-being during after-school activities.
• Encourage participation and adapt activities to diverse needs.
