Job summary

The City of Durham seeks a Youth Services Analyst to design, develop, and implement youth-focused programs that expand access to resources, build life and leadership skills, elevate youth voice, and strengthen pathways to opportunity across Durham.

Youth engagement, collaboration with partners, and data-driven evaluation will guide program development and implementation under the Youth Services Manager. Some evenings and weekends may be required for community meetings and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Two years of youth-focused program design/implementation experience.
• Valid NC Driver's License (if in NC).

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and develop youth-focused programs aligned with community needs.
• Create program frameworks, implementation plans, and leadership-ready recommendations.
• Coordinate with youth, families, schools, and community partners to support goals.
• Design and facilitate workshops, trainings, and listening sessions to elevate youth voice.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to support program success.
• Collaborate with departments and partners to implement programs.
• Collect and analyze feedback to measure performance and drive improvements.
• Ensure programs are accessible and culturally responsive to community needs.
• Report progress, challenges, and resource needs to the Youth Services Manager.
